Note: Odyssey Marine Exploration now trades on the American Stock Exchange (Amex) under the symbol OMR.

ODYSSEY ANNOUNCES ADMISSION TO AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGE

TAMPA, FL - November 13, 2003 - Odyssey Marine Exploration, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: OMEX), a leader in the field of deep ocean shipwreck exploration, has been approved for listing on the American Stock Exchange (Amex).

Odyssey's new trading symbol will be OMR and trading of the company's stock on the American Stock Exchange is expected to begin on November 19, 2003.

"We are excited to be joining the many emerging growth companies listed on the American Stock Exchange," stated John C. Morris, Odyssey Co-founder and CEO. "Amex is one of the premiere exchanges and our move will provide increased liquidity for our shareholders and broader exposure to a larger market."

Odyssey is engaged in the archaeologically sensitive exploration and excavation of shipwrecks around the world. The company is currently conducting the archaeological excavation of the SS Republic, a sidewheel steamer that sank in 1865 with a large cargo of coins.

Odyssey has an additional project, HMS Sussex, ready to move into the archaeological excavation stage and two projects in the search stage. In addition, Odyssey has more than a dozen projects in various stages of development throughout the world and has a database of over 3000 additional potential shipwreck targets.
