Porcelain Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus Candlestick

The excavation of the SS Republic yielded 13 Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus porcelain candlesticks in three different sizes, produced as sets to include the figure of St. Joseph, examples of which were also recovered from the site. As a pair, the candlestick sets comprise the Holy Family, and were likely of French manufacture.
